Approved Inspectors Ltd is one of the largest Building Regulation Specialists in the UK, with over 50 employees operating from five offices and dealing with over 6000 projects each year.

We provide a regulatory service for any type of building work from small domestic extensions through to large commercial building schemes with a nationwide coverage from our offices in Lancashire, Cheshire, Manchester and the Midlands.

We are licenced to operate as a Building Control Body by the Construction Industry Council Approved Inspectors Register (CICAIR). CICAIR Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Construction Industry Council (CIC) and the approval process it operates provides applicants with a route to registration as an Approved Inspector. We are independently audited on an annual basis and certified to undertake Building Control work in accordance with Part II of the Building Act 1984 and the Building (Approved Inspectors etc.) Regulations 2010.

We have a friendly, helpful team and take great pride in employing highly motivated and experienced Building Surveyors that are both technically and commercially aware. Our team includes specialists in Fire Engineering, Structural Engineering, Acoustics and Historic Buildings. All of our surveyors are qualified professionals with many years of Building Control experience both in the public and private sectors.  Our surveyors are required to undertake a minimum of 30 hours of Continued Professional Development (CPD) every year.  This ensures you get a professionally qualified advisor that has both specialist expertise and up to date knowledge to undertake their role.

We understand that navigating the Building Regulations can be a complex process and so work in partnership with you, to guide your project to a successful completion.  Our surveyors are responsive and at hand to answer any queries, available by email and phone, and supported by a proficient Business Support Team.
