Under 13D of The Building (Registered Building Control Approvers etc)(Wales) Regulations 2024, a compliance declaration must be submitted to the Registered Building Control Approver before the Final Certificate can be released. Accordingly, upon receiving this declaration, Approved Inspectors Ltd will acknowledge its receipt on the Final Certificate.
Once all the works, covered by the Initial Notice (Building Regulation Application), have been completed it is a requirement that the principal designer, under 13D of The Building (Registered Building Control Approvers etc)(Wales) Regulations 2024, provides formal notice to us, confirming principal designer (or sole or lead designer), have fulfilled their duties as a principal designer under Part 2B (dutyholders and competence) of the 2010 Regulations and subsequently fill out the declaration template provided below.
